Tariff 1 (day, 3.90 PLN/km) applies on weekdays from 6:00 to 22:00. Tariff 2 (night, 5.85 PLN/km) applies at night (22:00–6:00) and all day on Sundays and public holidays. The same route will therefore be cheaper on a Wednesday afternoon than on a Sunday or after midnight — that's the standard tariff rate, not a "traffic jam" surcharge.
