Kolbudy is a municipality south-west of Gdańsk — home to thousands who commute into the Tricity along the DW221 road. Taxis in Kolbudy are ordered by residents of the municipal centre, Bielkówko, Łapino and Lublewo; neighbouring Borkowo and Kowale are billed like Gdańsk's urban zone, which lowers the fare.

The most common destinations are Gdańsk airport (about 17 km, roughly ~150 PLN by day), southern Gdańsk (Ujeścisko, Łostowice), the city centre, and late-night returns from town to the Kolbudy lake.
