Krakowiec-Górki Zachodnie is Gdańsk's most sailing-minded district — marinas and sailing centres operate at the mouth of the Wisła Śmiała, and the beach at entrance 28 is among the quietest in the city. Housing is low and scattered, and the main approach runs along the Sucharskiego route and Krakowiecka street.

In summer we drive yacht crews from the Górki Zachodnie marinas to the centre and the railway station, and beachgoers to the beach entrances. Off season the district is quiet — order slightly ahead or book for a set time. The airport transfer runs along the Sucharskiego route and through the tunnel under the Martwa Wisła.
